T-Ball (Kindergarten)

a. Players must be in kindergarten and at least five (5) years old. Players are assigned to teams by the coaches and the league officials.

b. Hats, shirts, and helmets are supplied by the FTYA. Pants, cleats, socks, and extra protective wear are supplied by the parents.

c. Team parents will give out uniforms, collect all paperwork, and call other parents when games are cancelled.

d. Practices are two (2) times per week, one held on a week night and the other on Saturday. Practices are one and one-half (1 1/2) hours.

e. There are no games at this level. The children are taught the fundamentals of baseball with practices and scrimmages.

Rookies (First and Second Graders)

a. A draft is held to pick teams once tryouts have been completed. 

b. Hats, shirts, and helmets are supplied by the FTYA. Pants, cleats, socks, and extra protective wear are supplied by the parents.

c. Team parents will give out uniforms, collect all paperwork, and call other parents when games are cancelled.

d. Practices are usually 2-3 times per week before the season starts. They last for one and one half hours. When the season begins, practices are cut to one time per week.

e. An average of one to two games a week are played. 

Minors (Third, Fourth and Fifth Graders)

a. A draft is held to pick teams once tryouts have been completed.

Majors (Fifth and Sixth Graders)

c. Team parents will give out uniforms, collect all paperwork, and call other parents when games are cancelled.

f. Playoffs are held at the completion of the season.
