T-Ball (Kindergarten) a. Players must be in kindergarten and at least five (5) years old. Players are assigned to teams by the coaches and the league officials. b. Hats, shirts, and helmets are supplied by the FTYA. Pants, cleats, socks, and extra protective wear are supplied by the parents. c. Team parents will give out uniforms, collect all paperwork, and call other parents when games are cancelled. d. Practices are two (2) times per week, one held on a week night and the other on Saturday. Practices are one and one-half (1 1/2) hours. e. There are no games at this level. The children are taught the fundamentals of baseball with practices and scrimmages.
